Our Story

OneWater began with a connection to La Dalia, a rural coffee town in the mountains of northern Nicaragua. While serving as a missionary in Nicaragua for two years, founder Tyler Clason grew to love the people and witnessed the challenges many families face in accessing clean water.

During a dengue outbreak in La Dalia in 2013, Tyler contracted the illness himself. His experience—and his access to medical care that others lacked—deepened his commitment to serving these communities. That commitment became OneWater: a team working alongside local partners to provide families with water filtration systems, education, and ongoing support.

Our mission is to provide clean water to the families of Nicaragua. By providing water filtration systems and education on the importance of clean water, we will help save lives, reduce waterborne illness, and ensure sustainable access to clean water.
