In an effort to eradicate disease ridden mosquitos, Yasir, 17, sprays a noxious mixture of diesel and insecticides in a house in La Dalia. 

Tomas, a local resident from La Dalia, worked diligently helping our team install filters and teach families the importance of clean water.

Every member of the family, no matter how young, must contribute to retrieving water from whatever sources are available.

Our team works diligently to source as much of the filter from local providers in Nicaragua.

The village of La Dalia lies in the beautiful northern hills of Nicaragua. Though beautiful, the isolated location of the village makes it nearly impossible for clean water to be pumped in.

Water is a needed commodity in Nicaragua, with people walking miles to access semi-clean water. Sadly, the water is still filled with life threatening bacteria and pesticides.

Located an hour from La Dalia, Matagalpa is the staging area for our team. Here we source the parts for our filtration systems, working hard to establish lasting relationships with vendors. 

Señor Benavides is a vital part of our team! He helps identify which families are in the most need of filtration systems. Here he is in his store where he makes and sells shoes and leather goods.
